CUET UG and PG exams were introduced to address the issue of increased competition and rising cutoff marks at central universities in the country. The cutoff for courses in prestigious universities like Delhi University, BHU, AMU, and others touched the sky each year. To solve the competition, the government of India has decided to introduce mandatory exams for admission to universities.
The CUET UG exam is for undergraduate and dual (UG + PG) courses, while the CUET PG exam is for admission to postgraduate courses in the central universities. To help aspirants who are preparing for the exam, we have provided all the details necessary for their preparation.
The Ministry of Education (MoE) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA). This autonomous and self-sustaining premier organisation conducts exams using efficient, transparent, and international standards to assess candidates’ competency for admission to premier higher education institutions.
CUET UG Exam
The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) exam acts as a bridge for students who are interested in taking admission to undergraduate courses in participating universities. The exam covers various domain subjects, language, and general studies. The exam pattern is designed to test the student’s class 12 knowledge. All the details of the UG exam are on the page.
CUET PG Exam
The National Testing Agency conducts the CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate) exam for candidates interested in pursuing a PG after completing their undergraduate studies in the central universities. Students can check all the exam details on our website.
CUET Eligibility
For the undergraduate exam, the minimum eligibility is the 12th standard from a recognised school or university. For the postgraduate colleges, the students must have graduated from a recognised university. It is the first and foremost requirement to sit for the exam. The National Testing Agency will accept applications from only those who are eligible. For more details, you must go through the CUET eligibility thoroughly.

CUET Result
After the answer key is released, the NTA releases the exam result. Candidates can check the marks they scored in the CUET result. After the result, the counselling process starts for admission to universities.
